Talk show host Jimmy Kimmel revealed in a funny post on Instagram that his preparations for Thanksgiving dinner did not go as planned. The 54-year-old TV personality shared several Thanksgiving photos and said he burned his hair and eyebrows while trying to open the oven. 

"Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Try not to light your hair and eyebrows in the oven!" Jimmy added a caption to a selfie showing the burnt hair on his forehead. The few strands of hair on Jimmy's hands don't look very good in the photo.

However, Jimmy wrote in another article: “Smoked turkey with burnt hair brought an interesting twist to the whole event.” This new photo shows him holding a perfect caramel at Thanksgiving. Turkey barbecue.

This is not the first time Jimmy accidentally burnt his hair. In an interview with Ellen DeGeneres last year, Jimmy revealed that during the celebration on July 4th, he had been turning on the gas while lighting the grill, which caused an explosion: "I turn on I lost the gas on the grill, and then I walked a short distance looking for the game. Then when I came back, I thought:'Well, I should probably open the lid to ventilate this thing, or turn it off and start again. Then I thought, "No, I won't do that.
